Bug Nursery

Today is "Tuesday Trash to Treasure" day over at Reinvented.
A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words is also having a link party.
I looked around my house and remembered a project I did in the nursery 2 years ago. I was so young and broke with my first 2 kids that I literally had nothing. I never had a cute nursery or a changing table. I changed diapers on the floor or on the bed and forget a diaper genie. There were a few years that I couldn't get pregnant for some reason so there is a 6 year space between my 2nd and 3rd. This time around we were more financially secure (and in an actual home) so I was finally able to create my dream nursery. I went with a bug theme based on a cute bed set that I found. My DH knew someone with a vinyl cutter that owed him a favor, so I designed these "Bee" sayings by President Hinckley and had them cut into vinyl.
I used an old dresser (sorry no before picture, but it was ugly) and painted it white with black drawers (I had a white, pastel green and black theme going on). I put a changing table top on it and finally had my changing table!!! I found this old towel holder that I used to have in the bathroom above the toilet (This is the trash to treasure part) and hung it above the changing table. I sewed a panel out of scrap material to hang on it and hold lotions etc...

It is hard to believe that this was all 2 years ago and my little baby is almost ready for a big boy bed.
