Clear Fruit Glaze

For my son's 2nd birthday I wanted to make a cake that the adults would enjoy, but I also wanted something fun for him. I decided to take an angel food cake and frost it with whipping cream and then top it off with strawberries and raspberries. To make the fruit all shiny and pretty I used a clear fruit glaze. Then I topped the cake with some of my son's favorite characters that he could take off and enjoy later. He loved his cake and whenever he is playing with the characters, he talks about his Buzz Lightyear cake. The only thing I had to make for this cake was the fruit glaze. This recipe makes a lot of fruit glaze and I only needed half for this cake.
