Most of the furniture I have been fixing up lately has been from my 99 year old grandmother's house (we recently moved her into a rest home). This weeks project is a coffee table. It had some really wobbly legs that I glued. After that I painted it cream, used some leftover stain and rubbed it all over, sanded edges and spots for that antique look, then varnished. Total cost was only $3 for the glue, the rest of the stuff I had on hand. The cream paint turned out a little more yellow than I wanted probably because of the "clear" varnish I used, but other than that I am pretty happy.
