167th Penny Pinching Party

This is the best time of year to go through closets, clean out old toys, and make some extra cash for Christmas. This week I gathered all of the toys that my kids no longer play with and listed them for sale in the local classifieds. I didn't even bother to clean them up or organize them and take really great looking photos. I took this quick photo of some geotrax:

 I used some internet photos of the geotrax all set up rather than spend an hour organizing them, setting them up and taking photos. I sold them for full asking price an hour after listing them. I also sold a dusty Radio Flyer trike an hour after listing it. Sometimes I put off listing things for sale because of the amount of work it takes to clean them up, take some good looking photos, and list them. I decided just to take some quick photos and list them as they were and had no problems selling. In fact I had multiple calls! It feels great to make some room in the closets and cash at the same time!
