Is anyone else becoming a little overwhelmed with the Holidays? After all of the Holiday parties, family events, room mom parties for school (I'm doing a Polar Express party tomorrow), school performances, requests for flute performances (I play the flute), and crazy traffic, I am ready for it all to be over. I know that is really Bah Humbug of me to say, but I miss my normal life and schedule. I miss being able to just run to the the store for something and not have to fight crowds of people and long lines. I am tired of hearing nothing but Christmas music on the radio station, especially since it started before Thanksgiving. I just want to have time to blog (I have tons of great projects I have done, but have not posted).
Okay, rant over; Thank you for letting me vent a little. I really do love Christmas.
Now back to your regularly scheduled Penny Pinching Party:
For those of you here linking up today, you are amazing. Seriously, I'm
just barely holding everything together at the moment and am in awe of
you.
Overwhelmed does not even begin to describe it! I realized YESTERDAY that Christmas was in ONE week ... we've not discussed dinner thoughts, my dad and his 'friend' coming over, I have 2 presents under the tree and no time to shop til the weekend ... Sonny Boy comes home Sunday, Princess has 4 teeth being pulled (today, yesterday she ate breakfast and they wouldn't do it) ... the list goes ON and ON! :(

ReplyDeleteYes, I'm overwhelmed by the stuff and all the doing. Really looking forward to December 26th.
Thanks so much for hosting each week. I know what you mean about holding it together, I'm just treading water. I'm trying to figure out how to do the party after Christmas.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas.
