I'm the room mom for my son's 5th grade class and love Valentine's Day in elementary school! I'm having the kids make mini cupid bow and arrows with Popsicle sticks, dental floss, and q-tips. The treat will be tic-tac-toe with graham crackers, frosting, and conversation hearts, and some other moms are doing games.
Later tonight I'm having a family dinner with cute decorations, cupid's love potion, and family games. My husband and I never celebrate Valentine's Day alone and prefer to make it a fun family event with the kids. It's so much better this way and a lot less stressful! I'd rather go out for a romantic evening when it's less crowded and not cliche.
